Oxcart ride through villages

Oxcarts (buffalo) are traditional transportations back days in Cambodia, they were not only used for transporting stuffs but to travel from and to further distances. They were designed in different styles and not only just for farmers, but for all level of the people back then including royal families.

Experience with an ox cart ride to visit the beauty of the surrounding landscape, along the way discovering rice-paddy field, seasonal farming methods, other daily activities of local people and resident houses of Khmer typically built on stilts. The cart is custom designed for your comfort with mat.

Cooking Classes at local’s home

Water blessing at pagoda

Put yourself into Khmer people’s beliefs as they go to Monastery and invite the monk for pour holy water (ablution) or water blessing with chanting in order to expel the bed spirit away from their body, bringing peace, happiness, success and prosperity to life.

To take water ablution people will put in sarong and the monk will pour water on them along with chanting for about 10 -15 minutes.

This activity is really common for local people, especially before take a serious journey or taking exams.

Kongkea Boat Ride for Sunset at Tonle Um

Kulen Elephant Forest

In the foothills of Kulen Mountain, lies the Bos Thom Community Forest, 1100 acres of protected forest inhabited by the former elephants of Angkor. For 22 years, these elephants have given rides to visitors in the temples of the world heritage site. Today, they roam free in their natural habitat and are living testimony of a changing world.

With 75 remaining captive elephants in Cambodia, the protection of this amazing animal is more critical than ever.
