Biography
Antoine Fontaine is a Founding Partner at ANANT Law Firm and a French-qualified lawyer with more than 28 years of professional experience, predominantly in Cambodia. Admitted to the Paris Bar, he advises international investors, multinational corporations and public institutions on investment structuring, taxation, labour, insurance and regulatory compliance, and serves as Avocat-Conseil to the French Embassy in Cambodia.
His practice combines corporate advisory work with contributions to Cambodian legal and policy reform, including public-private partnerships, state-owned enterprise governance and social protection. He also serves as Secretary General of EuroCham Cambodia and Senior Advisor to the Board of CAMFEBA, supporting dialogue between government and the private sector.
Before co-founding ANANT, Dr. Fontaine was a Founding Partner of Bun & Associates from 2007 to 2023. He holds a PhD in Insurance Law with highest honours and co-directs the Executive Program in Taxation at the Center for International Taxation Studies. His work has been recognised by Chambers and Partners and Asialaw.
